Rainbow Milk Magic Print

Materials

Materials

  • 1 cup Whole milk (or any milk of your choice) Whole milk is recommended for better color swirls.
  • various drops Food coloring (liquid or gel) Use different colors for vibrant prints.
  • 1 tbsp Dish soap This will help to spread the colors.
  • 5-10 pieces Cotton balls or Q-tips For applying soap and creating prints.
  • 1 piece A shallow dish or pie plate To hold the milk mixture.
  • 1 piece Paper For printing the colors.

Instructions

Setup

  • Pour a layer of milk into your shallow dish, covering the bottom completely.
  • Add drops of food coloring in different spots around the milk, allowing colors to settle.

Creating Prints

  • Take a cotton ball or Q-tip and dip it into the dish soap.
  • Gently touch the cotton to the surface of the milk in one of the color spots and observe the colors explode.
  • Lift the cotton ball and place it on a piece of paper to create your print.
  • Repeat this process to fill the paper with beautiful shapes and colors, experimenting with different combinations.

Tips & Notes:

The prints can be displayed, turned into cards, or framed. For storage, allow them to dry completely before keeping them flat. To enhance your prints, use canvas for texture or add glitter for extra shimmer.
