- 1 cup Whole milk (or any milk of your choice) Whole milk is recommended for better color swirls.
- various drops Food coloring (liquid or gel) Use different colors for vibrant prints.
- 1 tbsp Dish soap This will help to spread the colors.
- 5-10 pieces Cotton balls or Q-tips For applying soap and creating prints.
- 1 piece A shallow dish or pie plate To hold the milk mixture.
- 1 piece Paper For printing the colors.
Instructions
Setup
- Pour a layer of milk into your shallow dish, covering the bottom completely.
- Add drops of food coloring in different spots around the milk, allowing colors to settle.
Creating Prints
- Take a cotton ball or Q-tip and dip it into the dish soap.
- Gently touch the cotton to the surface of the milk in one of the color spots and observe the colors explode.
- Lift the cotton ball and place it on a piece of paper to create your print.
- Repeat this process to fill the paper with beautiful shapes and colors, experimenting with different combinations.
