Rainbow Kitten Fall Leaf Suncatcher Garland

Materials

Materials needed

  • 1 package Clear contact paper Acts as a protective layer for the suncatcher.
  • 8 pieces Pressed or artificial leaves Use for creating the leaf frames.
  • 1 package Rainbow tissue paper For colorful fillings.
  • 1 package Clear pink cellophane For additional color.
  • 1 package Clear blue cellophane For additional color.
  • 1 sheet Black cardstock To create the leaf frames and kitten features.
  • 1 length String For hanging the garland.
  • 1 bottle Glue Used to attach kitten features.

Instructions

Crafting the Suncatcher

  • Cut shapes of leaf frames from the black cardstock and place them aside.
  • Lay out a piece of clear contact paper on a flat surface and place leaf frames on the sticky side.
  • Fill the centers of each leaf frame with pieces of rainbow tissue paper, clear pink cellophane, and clear blue cellophane.
  • Cut out tiny kitten ears, eyes, and whiskers from black cardstock and attach to each leaf frame.
  • Seal the creation with another layer of clear contact paper and trim excess material.
  • Cut a length of string and thread the kitten leaves onto it, spacing them out evenly to create a garland.
  • Hang your garland in a sunny window to enjoy the colors!
