Tools Needed

Instructions

Prepare the Slime Base

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup of glue with 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Stir well until fully combined.

Add Color

  • Divide the mixture into separate bowls for each color you want to create. Add a few drops of food coloring into each bowl and mix until you achieve a vibrant hue.

Prepare the Activator

  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of warm water with 1 teaspoon of borax. Stir until the borax completely dissolves.

Combine Ingredients

  • Slowly add the borax solution to each bowl of colored glue while stirring continuously.
  • Continue stirring until the mixture pulls away from the sides of the bowl and forms slime.

Knead the Slime

  • Once it starts to come together, take the slime out of the bowl and knead it gently with your hands to enhance the texture.
  • If the slime is too sticky, add a little more borax solution until the desired consistency is reached.

Store the Slime

  • Store your slime in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.
