Preparation
- Start by painting rings of translucent rainbow colors around the plastic lid. Let each layer dry completely before adding the next one.
- While the paint is drying, use the clear glue to build textured bands around the rim of the lid with the acrylic gems and crushed iridescent cellophane.
- Allow the entire ornament to dry thoroughly. This can take a few hours depending on the materials you’ve used.
- Once everything is dry, use fishing line or string to hang your ornament in a sunny spot.
