Materials

Slime Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup clear glue
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda Makes the slime stretchier and gives it the right texture.
  • 2 tablespoons glow in the dark paint Gives the slime its vibrant glow.

Coloring Ingredients

  • various drops food coloring Choose your favorite colors for the rainbow effect.

Activating Ingredient

  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution Add more if the mixture is too sticky.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of clear glue and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Mix them until they are completely blended.
  • Add about two tablespoons of glow in the dark paint to your mixture and mix well.

Color Mixing

  • Divide the slime mixture into smaller bowls for each color you want. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl, mixing until you achieve the desired shades.

Activating the Slime

  • Slowly add in contact lens solution, about one tablespoon at a time, mixing well after each addition until the mixture forms slime.

Kneading

  • Take the slime out of the bowl and knead it with your hands. If it feels too sticky, add more contact lens solution as needed.

Storing
