Materials

  • 1 bottle Empty plastic bottles Use any size plastic bottle
  • 3 pack Red, white, and blue permanent markers or paint For decorating the bottles
  • 1 piece Scissors For cutting the bottle
  • 1 piece Hole punch For creating a hole in the cap
  • 1 piece String For hanging the spinners
  • 10 pieces Beads For decorative touch on the string

Instructions

Decoration

  • Decorate the bottle using the patriotic colors. Use the permanent markers or paint to color the exterior of your bottle thoroughly.

Cutting

  • Cut vertical strips around the middle of the bottle, leaving the top and bottom attached. Create slits about one inch apart around the bottle's circumference.

Bending

  • Gently bend the strips outward to create a spiral shape, ensuring they are positioned to catch the wind.

Assembly

  • Punch a hole in the cap area, add string, and hang the spinner outside. Add beads to the string for additional decoration.
