Art Materials
- 1 piece Black cardstock Use for the base of the artwork.
- 1 cup Salt Regular table salt or craft salt works.
- 1 tube Glue For securing paw prints.
- 1 set Rainbow watercolor Assorted colors for vibrant painting.
- 1 set Pink watercolor
- 1 set Blue watercolor
- 1 piece Droppers For applying watercolors precisely.
Instructions
Creating the Paw Prints
- Start by drawing and cutting out paw print shapes from black cardstock. Apply the glue generously to secure them in place.
- Allow the glue to dry fully. Once it’s set, sprinkle salt over the paw prints until they are completely coated.
- Using droppers, fill them with your rainbow and pink watercolors. Drop these colors onto the salt-covered paw prints and watch as the colors spread.
- Leave your artwork to dry in a flat position to help the watercolors set while allowing the salt to maintain its unique texture.

Tips & Notes:
If the colors spread too much, try controlling the amount of watercolor applied. Let the project dry for up to 24 hours for the best results. This project is suitable for children with adult supervision.
