Preparation
- Clean your tree branch thoroughly to remove any dirt or dust.
- Boil water in a pot and gradually add borax while stirring until saturated.
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and stir gently.
- Tie a piece of string around the top of the branch and suspend it inside the jar.
- Pour the borax solution into the jar until the branch is submerged.
- Set the jar in a quiet location and let it sit undisturbed.
- After 24 hours, carefully remove the branch and allow it to dry on a paper towel.
