  • Uncooked rice (about 2 cups)
  • Optional: Dried herbs (like lavender or chamomile)
  • Scissors (for cutting the fabric)
  • A funnel (or a piece of paper rolled into a cone, for easy filling)
  • Optional: Sewing pins (to hold the fabric in place if needed)

Instructions

  • Start by laying the cotton fabric square on a flat surface. Let its soft texture ground you.
  • If you're using dried herbs, sprinkle them in the center of the fabric square.
  • Measure about two cups of uncooked rice and pour it into the center of the fabric using a funnel or rolled paper.
  • Carefully fold the fabric corners toward the center, forming a pouch around the rice.
  • Gently tie a knot at the top with a piece of string or ribbon, sealing in the warmth and purpose.
  • For extra security, consider tucking in the edges or using sewing pins to ensure everything stays in place.
