  • 1 piece Round paper lanterns Easy to find at craft stores
  • 1 piece LED tealight candles Safety-focused alternative to real candles
  • several sheets Colorful tissue paper For a shimmering effect
  • 1 stick Glue stick or craft glue For smooth application
  • 1 piece String For hanging lanterns
  • 1 piece Scissors For gentle cutting
  • optional Glitter or stickers For added decoration

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by taking your round paper lantern and gently unfolding it. Feel the smoothness of the paper as it opens, like the calming spread of wings.
  • Cut small squares or shapes from the colorful tissue paper.
  • Using glue, attach the tissue paper to the outside of the lantern.
  • Carefully insert an LED tealight candle inside the lantern.
  • Secure the top opening of the lantern.
  • Use string to hang your lantern in a special spot.
