Materials

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of liquid soap (like dish soap, easy to find)
  • 1 teaspoon of corn syrup (substitutable with light corn syrup)
  • Optional: food coloring or glitter for added flair

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup of liquid soap. Stir gently to avoid creating bubbles.
  • Slowly add 1 teaspoon of corn syrup to the mixture. Observe how it thickens slightly.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring or glitter to give your bubble mixture a magical touch. Stir lightly to combine.
  • Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes. This resting time allows the ingredients to meld together beautifully.
  • Dip your hands into the mixture and gently stretch and pull apart to form your bubble. Notice the texture and the way it feels against your skin.
