- 1 cup Hot water Handle with care; allow adults to assist.

Instructions
Preparation
- In a clear plastic container, carefully combine hot water and Borax at a ratio of 3 tablespoons of Borax per cup of hot water. Stir well until the Borax dissolves completely.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture, mixing colors to create a unique rainbow effect.
- Place a shallow dish beneath the container to catch any spills from the excess solution.
- Using string or fishing line, suspend a small piece of the solution over the top of the container, ensuring it doesn't touch the bottom.
Crystallization
- Set your container in a safe place where it won't be disturbed. This will usually take about 6-8 hours for the crystals to form.
- Once the crystallization process is complete, carefully remove the suspended structure to reveal the iridescent rainbow clouds.
